Your clinic visit
What to know on the day you come to the clinic: finding us, luggage, paying, language, and what to do if you travel alone.
Information provided by the clinic on 2026-10-19.
Finding the clinic
- The Taipei Xinyi main clinic is on the 15th floor of Shoutai Xinyi, the building joined to Exit 5 of Xinyi Anhe MRT Station (15F, No. 251, Sec. 4, Xinyi Rd.).
- There is a management desk on the ground floor. Tell the staff you have an appointment at Liusmed Clinic on the 15th floor.
- When you arrive downstairs, message us by web chat, Telegram or LINE to say you are here. If the building staff do not let you go up, we will come down to meet you.
- Kaohsiung Wenkang branch (No. 113, Wenkang Rd.) is on the ground floor. Walk in from the street and you are at the clinic. No lift and no management desk. You are welcome to message us when you arrive.
Luggage
- If you come straight from the airport, or go straight to the airport after your visit, you can bring your suitcase and leave it at the clinic.
Payment and cash
- Fees on the day are paid in cash only. We do not take credit cards. You can pay in NT dollars, US dollars, Hong Kong dollars or Korean won. Other currencies are converted at the Bank of Taiwan posted rate of that day, and the front desk tells you the amount.
- Only the overseas video consultation fee can be paid by bank transfer. No deposit is needed to book.
- Getting cash: there are 24-hour convenience-store ATMs near the clinics. In Taipei, 7-ELEVEN Xinyi store (No. 1, Ln. 12, Aly. 265, Sec. 4, Xinyi Rd.). In Kaohsiung, 7-ELEVEN Wenkang store (No. 156, Wenkang Rd.).
- Your overseas bank card needs an international cash-withdrawal logo such as Plus, Cirrus or UnionPay. Before you leave, ask your bank to turn on overseas withdrawals. The amount per withdrawal and the fee depend on your bank.
- Changing money: both Taoyuan and Kaohsiung airports have bank exchange counters in the arrivals hall. At a bank in the city, bring your passport and go during bank opening hours. The clinic takes US dollars, Hong Kong dollars and Korean won in cash, so you do not have to change to NT dollars first.
Language
- Our staff on site can speak English. For other languages, AI translates in real time, so we can talk with you in your own language.
Travelling alone
- Coming alone is fine. After the procedure we look after you. When you are steady and ready to leave, we help you call a car to your accommodation or the airport. Do not drive or ride on the day of the procedure.
- The Taipei clinic is right above the MRT. On the day you leave, take the Red Line from Xinyi Anhe to Taipei Main Station, then walk through the underground passage to the Airport MRT, which goes straight to the terminals. You hardly need to go outdoors.
Receipts and medical certificates
- We can issue receipts in English. Medical certificates can be issued in English and other languages, which helps with insurance claims back home. The fee for a medical certificate is USD 30.
After-hours emergencies
- If an emergency happens after your procedure, go straight to an emergency room or call 119, then let us know through the channel you usually use.
- Taipei: Cathay General Hospital Emergency Department (No. 280, Sec. 4, Renai Rd., open 24 hours, about 8 minutes on foot from the clinic).
- Kaohsiung: Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital Emergency Department (No. 386, Dazhong 1st Rd., open 24 hours, about 12 minutes by car from the clinic).
Typhoons and public holidays
- On a typhoon day, the clinic usually stays open as long as flights are running. When a typhoon is coming, we tell you ahead of time and help you reschedule if needed.
- If a public holiday falls on a weekday, the clinic usually stays open. The front desk confirms the actual schedule. The clinic is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
