Meet Dr. Ta-Ju Liu
Dedicated to Filler Complication Management
With 20 years of clinical experience in minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Liu identified a critical gap: the lack of effective protocols for treating filler complications. He developed ultrasound-guided micro-pinhole extraction techniques, refined over years, to precisely remove permanent and semi-permanent fillers without invasive surgery. As one of the few specialists in Taiwan focused exclusively on injectable complication repair, he has established standardized FOS (Facial Overfilled Syndrome) clinical treatment guidelines.

Not Just "It Can Come Out" — but Cleanly, Evenly, and Precisely
Most patients who reach secondary revision have the difficult cases; the most common of all are those who had material removed elsewhere, were left uneven, and came back for help. So we hold ourselves to three standards: removed cleanly — taking out as much of the residual material and the capsule that wraps it as can be safely removed, not settling for "some came out" (though never a 100% guarantee); removed evenly — leaving no new dents or ridges, the most decisive and most overlooked point of all; and removed precisely — mapping the whole face beforehand, allowing for how expression and the filler itself shift, and once swelling settles, taking out exactly what is needed and no more.
This feel for evenness and precision comes from the cross-disciplinary experience Dr. Liu internalized over years of underarm rotary-blade surgery, liposuction and fat grafting, and the repair of failed liposuction — experience that is, by its nature, hard to put into words. The feedback patients bring back at their one- and two-month follow-ups is the most honest test of whether we are meeting this standard.
