She didn't respond.

I asked again, "Isn't it a big improvement?"

She replied, "Yes, it's better, but..."

After a while, she pulled out a photo from her phone, handed it to me, and asked, "Why does it still look different from this photo?"

I asked her when that photo was taken.

She said, "Over ten years ago."

At that moment, I could only smile bitterly.
